The Northern Ireland Polymers Association (NIPA) is the industry body for the polymer (and plastics) sector in Northern Ireland. The organization is made up of defined technologies and representative sub-sectors.
These include injection moulding, thermoforming, blow moulding, extrusion, rotational moulding, composite and recycling technologies.
Representatives from leading manufactures, universities / colleges, research and development, support services make up the Membership.
The NIPA Office is located at the Innovation Centre at the Northern Ireland Science Park in Belfast. NIPA have established several Northern Ireland Working Groups in composites, material innovations, processing improvements and energy.
